In accordance with Articles 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (the "GDPR"), we hereby inform you, as a data subject, about the processing of the personal data you submit through the Request a Briefing contact form on this website.
1. Data controller

2. Data protection officer
The controller has not appointed a data protection officer, as it is not subject to this obligation under Article 37 GDPR. In all matters relating to the processing of your personal data or the exercise of your rights you may contact us at info@argentswarm.com.
3. Categories of personal data processed
When you submit the Request a Briefing form, we process the following categories of personal data:
- identification data — first name and last name,
- contact data — e-mail address and phone number.
The personal data are obtained directly from you as the data subject. We do not process any special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR) through this form.
4. Purpose and legal basis of the processing
The personal data are processed solely for the purpose of handling your briefing request and communicating with you about the products and services you have expressed interest in. The legal basis of the processing is:
- the performance of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and
- the legitimate interest of the controller in responding to business enquiries, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Provision of the data is voluntary; however, without it we are not able to process your request. You are not subject to any decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
5. Recipients of personal data
The personal data are stored in the controller's secured contact database and in an internal record used for processing enquiries. Recipients of the data may only be our service providers acting as data processors within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR (hosting and workflow-automation providers), which process the data exclusively on our instructions, and public authorities where disclosure is required by law. We do not sell your personal data or pass them to third parties for marketing purposes.
Should any of our processors process personal data outside the European Economic Area, such transfer takes place only on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or subject to appropriate safeguards pursuant to Article 46 GDPR (in particular standard contractual clauses).
6. Retention period
The personal data are kept only for the time necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up communication, at most for 2 years from your last interaction with us, unless a longer retention period is required by generally binding legal regulations. After the retention period expires, the data are erased.
7. Your rights as a data subject
Under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we process about you (Article 15),
- request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Article 16),
- request erasure of the data ("right to be forgotten", Article 17),
- request restriction of the processing (Article 18),
- data portability (Article 20),
- object to processing carried out on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest (Article 21).
You may exercise any of these rights by contacting us at info@argentswarm.com. We will respond to your request without undue delay, at the latest within one month of its receipt.
If you believe that your personal data are being processed unlawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz.

We may update this information about the processing of personal data from time to time. The current version, together with the date of the last update, is always available at this address.
